Bear with me as I navigate the new world of a website and blog. I am extremely excited and nervous at the same time. lol As I sit here and try to get this up and running while listening to “The Story I’ll tell” by Naomi Raine I can’t help but think this is exactly where I need to be and what I need to be doing. If you’ve ever heard this song and the testimony behind it, it sends a powerful message! (I’ll link it below) At a concert Naomi explained this song was birthed in the midst of Covid, when everyone was going crazy for toilet paper and losing hope in everything we once believed in. A beautiful reminder that the Lord walks before us, He knows before we ever could, that He is all we will ever need in this life, and hope for the future to look back and tell my story of where I was and how far I’ve come because the Lord never gave up on me. This blog isn’t about sunshine and rainbows, nor is it about doom and gloom. This blog is my life, navigating the good, bad, the in between and sharing it to show people they are not alone!! I am not perfect, and will never claim to be. I fall short every single day like everyone else but what you do after falling short is what will make or break you. Will you choose to pick up your cross and carry it with you knowing that you will stumble along the way or do we simply give up and give in? As for me, I will be picking up my cross daily, worshiping through the noise and chaos of the world, while running late (lol), but knowing that I have a wonderful, merciful, gracious God who will be by my side through it all! Please remember you are not alone, weather you believe in God or not, you don’t have to do this life alone, and YOU ARE LOVED!
